Finding the root of nerve pain

Pain, and how to adequately treat it, is one of the most daunting challenges facing the medical profession today. It’s estimated that 50 to 80 percent of spinal surgeries fail. One of the major reasons for this isn’t treatment, but misdiagnosis of the nerves causing the pain.

Axon_II_Sample_ReportUsed to diagnose the root cause of many common pain symptoms, the Axon Nerve Test provides a simple test that can accurately identify the exact level and side of the nerve root causing the pain. This test can be used as part of a successful treatment of almost all sorts of bodily pain, from back to wrist to neck and much more.

The way the test is administered is simple. The doctor or practitioner places a small electrode to a specific pain point on a patient. The practitioner then increases the level of intensity until the patient reports feeling a sensation. This otherwise innocuous stimulus sends an electrical signal that selectively stimulates A-delta nerve fibers. Technology built in to the system verifies the firing of each nerve, leading to an accurate and objective pinpointing of the damage.  This, in turn, is one of the reasons for its’ 97% sensitivity.

Other benefits of using this specific technology is a membership to the American Association of Sensory Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AASEM), Unlimited phone support, Training videos and Online Textbook, and more.
